Now,90% are cultured pearls,that is not only freshwater pearls,but aslo South Sea pearls.We explained before because demands of the market is too big,natural pearls are not enough for supply.

First,Size of freshwater pearls is smaller than South Sea pearls.That is the biggest factor for expense.Usually,you may see freshwater pearls are in 1mm to 10mm,it is rare for size of 11mm to 14mm.But South Sea pear often grows size from 8mm to 15mm,even 16mm to 20mm.

 

Second,South Sea pearl has sharp luster than freshwater.It has color of white,gold.That is cool if you can buy one as a pearl pendant for gift to your girlfriend or mother.They will be happy.Freshwater pearls are in white,pink,light black.They are usally made into pearl strands or pearl necklaces in our factory.

 

Refer to quality grades,we are used to set A,AA,AAA for partition pearls quality class.So you may guess what I would like to explain this about unit cost of pearls.AAA is the expensivest ones.
